About The Fall Run
The Adams Fall Run relaunched last year with a few basic goals, provide a great experience for area
motorcycle riders and area residents, while raising money to help military veterans in need, locally and
throughout Massachusetts. Praise our help for the hard work and dedication that made it all possible.
The weather was perfect and 1000’s of people lined the streets. Local police, ambulance and fire
departments ensured a safe ride for all participants. The 50mile ride wound its way through the
Berkshires and came back to Bowe Field in Adams. Riders and local residents were greeted with great
music and delicious food. The overwhelming response from participants was, “we had a great time and
look forward to next year.”
The event raised $15,000 that was distributed by the designated American
Legions. Those legions identified and helped individual veterans who were in need.
There is much work to do, and the needs of our veterans have only increased with the inflation and
added cost of living. Your sponsorship, participation, registration fees and donations have and will
make a difference. Our veterans prayed to Saint Michael the Archangel and patron saint of the military
to keep them safe.
With your help, we can answer some of those prayers by paying heating and grocery
bills for our veterans who gave so much and expect so little.
Please join us again, Adams deserves this event and with your help, it will become the fabric of the
community…
Fundraising
American Legion Riders chapters are well known for their charitable work, which has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for local children's hospitals, schools, veterans homes, severely wounded service members and scholarships. Since 2006, Riders nationwide have participated in The American Legion Legacy Run to annually raise money for the Legacy Scholarship Fund, established to provide scholarships to children of U.S. military personnel killed since Sept. 11, 2001.
